The 2025 championship delivered another unforgettable week of world-class golf at Hoakalei Country Club in ‘Ewa Beach, O‘ahu. Youmin Hwang, a 22-year-old Republic of Korea native competing on a sponsor exemption, captured her first LPGA Tour victory with a dramatic finish.

Hwang birdied the final four holes and five of her last six to close with a 5-under 67 and finish at 17-under 271. Her late charge secured a one-stroke victory over 2022 LOTTE Champion Hyo Joo Kim. Japan’s Minami Katsu finished third at 15-under, while World No. 2 Nelly Korda tied for fourth.

“This is my dream,” Hwang said through a translator. “Finally, I achieved my dream here at the LOTTE Championship, and I also very much look forward to my future as well in the LPGA. I would like to express my deepest gratitude for LOTTE for inviting me.”

Now, we look forward to welcoming the LPGA Tour back to O‘ahu for the 2026 LOTTE Championship, September 28 through October 4, 2026.
