2023 LOTTE Championship, April 9-15

In only her third start as a Tour rookie Grace Kim won her first LPGA title after a nail-biting three-woman playoff victory over Yu Liu and Yu Jin Sung at the 2023 LOTTE Championship.

The 22-year-old Australian played assertively throughout Saturday’s final round at Hoakalei Country Club, with birdies on the last two holes in regulation then birdied the 18th once again in overtime to dance a victory hula on the 18th green and collect the $300,000 winner’s check. 

Kim is the 12th different player from Australia to win on the LPGA Tour and is a four-time recipient of the Karrie Webb Scholarship.  “I think this really just puts the cherry on top of my career. I know it's just the beginning, but seeing how much they (Australian winners on the LPGA Tour) really motivated me to get here, it's really exciting.”
